Rebild Funds
Rebild National Park Society Inc. is the administrator of 5 scholarships established to make it financially possible for American students to continue their studies
in Denmark and Danish students to continue their studies in the US. If you are a US student who has been accepted as a student at a Danish institution of higher
education or you are a Danish student who has been accepted as a student at an American institution of higher education, we would he happy to receive your application
for financial assistance.
The scholarships are not intended for exchange studies/internships.

Please note:
The Rebild scholarships do not offer financial support for:
- Studies in other countries than the above mentioned.
- Students attending primary or secondary schools.
The Upper Midwest Rebild Scholarship Corporation (501c3) offers a scholarship award. The award will help support a semester of study at a Danish university or college
by a student of Danish background or who has demonstrated a strong interest and commitment to Denmark and Danish related matters. In the past, awards have ranged from
$1,500 to $3,000. Forms and instructions are available online at http://www.umrsc.org or
http://www.dansklegat.org. Please share this information with friends, family and any students who may be studying abroad in

The fund was established in 1971 as a gift from Mr. Erik Dugdale, the father of Diana and Irene.
The scholarship was first awarded in 1972.
Deadline for the application is March 1st. The scholarship is awarded at the beginning of April.
The VanderKloot Contribution Committee suggested this scholarship to be established on December 5, 1966. The initial capital consisted of 100 shares in National Bank of
Detroit which was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Robert VanderKloot family to William S. Knudsen.
The purpose of the scholarship is to honor the memory of William S. Knudsen and Clara E.Knudsen by furthering the Rebild idea: Better understanding between The United
States and Denmark.
Deadline for the application is March 1st. The scholarship is awarded at the beginning of April.
This scholarship was established in 1994 by donations of $1,000 from private persons and companies close to
the Rebild Society. The fund is still open for donations.
